As we all sit here, heart beating, body working its ways, the life clock ticking on, blood coursing through flesh, as the bones of our body hold our structure together, we...all...all of us in this human equation, desire at some level a connection with the divine.
Call it what you will..desire has its roots in something much deeper then lust, it comes from a need, to be connected, our whole life no matter how much we deny it we long for connection, whether born in hovel, mansion, tipi, igloo, trailer, or ranch house, living on the streets, living in the corporate jungle, or living in the most eco-friendly house we can find. We seek connection and at the same time, separation, it is a strange thing this pull towards oneness, and this pull to disconnect all felt in one body, one spirit at the same time. DUALITY....forces, movement, stillness, sound, silence, tension, peace, so many conflicting feelings sometimes in one body.
More importantly, then this, this deep inner confusion of opposing wills is the way, we do it. It has been said there are no two snow flakes exactly alike, that too would describe the human being, even identical twins, are unique and different, so then why do we rubber stamp how we connect?
Is that not personal? Is that not solely up to the human being? The one living and breathing this life of confusing duality? So then, how do you kneel and kiss the ground? What ways give you peace, give you connection, and allow you separation to reflect and meditate, ahh, again, duality.
Sometimes, we need, to be alone...or ALL ONE. Just one in our selves. To stop to listen to hear...what it is that our heart is trying to tell us. Then in other times we need deep, deep social interactions. People to talk to, speak with, dance with, sing with, interact with. How about seeing them as both social interactions. We give far to little credit to our own self as a persona of social interaction, but dear one, I truly believe the divine is there, the ultimate beloved, hOMe is calling....will you take the call? I think it's for you.
